The new “JINS × JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” collection brings together characters from Phantom Blood through Steel Ball Run, with frames inspired by their signature clothing, supernatural abilities and other recognizable details.

Created by Hirohiko Araki, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure began serialization in 1986 and follows successive generations of the Joestar family as they encounter supernatural threats and powerful enemies across different time periods and locations.

The manga has since expanded across nine major story arcs, with the latest anime adaptation, Steel Ball Run, making its debut on Netflix in March 2026 and introducing viewers to the adventures of Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli.

The new collection has been developed by JINS, one of Japan’s largest eyewear retailers, which has previously collaborated with several major anime franchises to create character-inspired glasses designed for everyday use.

These have included a special Chainsaw Man collection celebrating the Reze Arc movie, alongside two Dragon Ball eyewear ranges inspired by the original anime and Dragon Ball DAIMA.

For its JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure collaboration, JINS has created eight different frames incorporating carefully placed references to the series, including metal decorations, engraved patterns and elements inspired by individual outfits.

Seven of the designs also feature the Joestar family’s signature star-shaped birthmark on their nose pads, with Gyro Zeppeli being the sole exception due to his separate family lineage.

Let’s take a closer look at all eight deisgns!
- “Jonathan Joestar Model”

A navy square frame inspired by the Phantom Blood protagonist, featuring metal details based on the Stone Mask along its temples and stud decorations referencing Jonathan’s gloves.

- “Joseph Joestar Model”

An olive-green browline design incorporating details based on the Red Stone of Aja, with additional engraved patterns and decorative elements inspired by Joseph’s appearance in Battle Tendency.

- “Jotaro Kujo Model”

A black Wellington-style frame featuring sculpted metal chain decorations inspired by Jotaro’s school uniform, alongside small details referencing the buttons and decorations on his signature hat.

- “Josuke Higashikata Model”

A navy oval frame with a front design inspired by Josuke’s distinctive hairstyle, accompanied by small anchor and heart decorations taken from his school uniform in Diamond Is Unbreakable.

- “Giorno Giovanna Model”

A gold-colored titanium frame featuring an unusual bridge inspired by Giorno’s curled hairstyle, with laser-engraved ladybug motifs referencing the brooches on his outfit in Golden Wind.

- “Jolyne Cujoh Model”

A green Boston-style frame incorporating the “JO” lettering from Jolyne’s belt across its bridge, with braided metal details and a butterfly motif referencing her appearance in Stone Ocean.

- “Johnny Joestar Model”

A silver titanium frame inspired by the vintage eyewear of the late 19th century, with horseshoe-shaped decorations at the hinges and star patterns based on Johnny’s signature hat from Steel Ball Run.

- “Gyro Zeppeli Model”

A brown square frame recreating elements of Gyro’s goggles, featuring Steel Ball designs on the nose pads and metal decorations inspired by his gold teeth, alongside double-line details extending along the temples.

The collection uses several different frame shapes and materials, including acetate, mixed-material constructions and titanium, allowing each design to reflect its respective character without relying on large illustrations or logos.

Each pair also comes with an exclusive JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure glasses case and an original cleaning cloth, with different cloth colors and artwork corresponding to the selected character.

JINS has included standard clear lenses in the purchase price, with prescription options available within the retailer’s supported lens ranges.

The new collaboration follows several other JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure fashion releases during 2026, including GU’s first official clothing collection, which featured T-shirts and open-collar shirts inspired by the Joestar family and other major characters.

Steel Ball Run has also received its own fashion accessories, including a collection of official jewelry inspired by Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli that draws on their distinctive clothing and personal belongings.

The “JINS × JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure” collection is officially scheduled for release on October 29, 2026, through JINS’ Japanese online store and participating retail locations across Japan, priced at ¥14,900 per pair (approximately $95 / £71).

The price includes standard clear single-vision lenses, an original case and a character-specific cleaning cloth, with online sales scheduled to begin at 10 AM JST (9 PM ET / 6 PM PT on October 28).

Purchases will be limited to two of each design per customer, with outlet stores excluded from the promotion and no corresponding US release confirmed at the time of writing.
