Worshippers Of Cthulhu Xbox Release Confirmed for March 27

Publisher Crytivo and developer Crazy Goat Games have announced that the Xbox Series version of the city builder Worshippers of Cthulhu will launch on March 27, 2026.
This upcoming console release follows the game’s successful debut in Early Access for PC via Steam on October 21, 2024, and its subsequent full PC release on May 22, 2025.
The title challenges players to take on the role of a cult leader dedicated to awakening the Great Old One, Cthulhu, within a world heavily inspired by the works of HP Lovecraft.
Gameplay revolves around establishing and managing complex cities across several islands while maintaining a balance between resource management and the fanaticism of followers.
As leaders of the cult, players must perform dark rituals to communicate with eldritch entities and unlock supernatural powers to aid in their territorial expansion.
The narrative forces players to make difficult moral choices regarding non-believers, who can either be re-educated into loyal subjects or sacrificed to further the cult’s goals.
Strategic depth is provided through a management system that requires balancing Cthulhu’s Patience against the aggressive expansion of the player’s influence.
While Xbox Series players can look forward to the March 27, 2026, release date, the developers have confirmed that a PlayStation 5 version is also currently in development for a future launch.
The game aims to provide an immersive experience through its atmospheric setting and the significant consequences attached to every leadership decision made by the player.
