Gundam and New Era Team Up for New Cap Collection

Bandai’s official apparel brand STRICT-G has announced a new line of headwear focused on factions from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series.
The capsule collection features a new collaboration with the global sports and lifestyle brand New Era to produce three distinct cap designs.

Mobile Suit Gundam originally premiered in Japan in 1979 and revolutionized the mecha genre by introducing the concept of real robots.

The groundbreaking series follows the bitter and devastating conflict between the Earth Federation and the breakaway Principality of Zeon.

Fans can now represent their favorite faction or pilot from the series with these officially licensed accessories.

The new hats are based on New Era’s popular 9TWENTY model, which features an unstructured front for a soft, comfortable fit and a naturally curved visor.

Each cap is made from 100% cotton and has undergone a special washing process to give the fabric a relaxed, slightly faded, and vintage feel right out of the box.

This isn’t the first time that STRICT-G and New Era have collaborated, with previous collections including a range of caps and T-Shirts.
