World’s fastest anime fan Olympian Noah Lyles launches new apparel line with Crunchyroll and Adidas

The anime streaming service Crunchyroll has teamed up with the Olympic gold medalist and world champion sprinter Noah Lyles for a new, anime-inspired capsule collection.
The new line of apparel, which is powered by the sportswear brand Adidas, is a celebration of the athlete’s well-known and passionate love for anime.

The collection is built around the theme of “Crunch Mode,” which is described as the mindset where an athlete’s intense “training arc” meets their “race-day intensity.”
The designs are meant to channel a “protagonist power” and are crafted for those who “show up like it’s the season finale.”
The full, four-item collection is as follows:
- Speedline Saga Tee: $40

- The Poster Tee: $40

- Crunch Mode Hoodie: $70

- Speedline Saga Hat: $35

This new product line is the latest in a series of high-profile interactions between the American track and field star and the world of Japanese pop culture.
Earlier this week, the legendary manga artist Keisuke Itagaki, the creator of the iconic fighting series Baki the Grappler, presented Lyles with a special, original illustration.

The artwork, which depicted the Olympian in Itagaki’s signature, hyper-muscular style, was created to celebrate his recent bronze medal win at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, where Lyles famously performed a “Kamehameha” pose from Dragon Ball.
This new apparel collection from Crunchyroll and Adidas further solidifies the athlete’s status as a major ambassador for the global anime community.

The new “Crunchyroll x Noah Lyles” collection is being sold exclusively on the Crunchyroll Store in the United States.
It was released for sale on Thursday, the 18th of September, 2025.
