Pre-Orders Officially Open for 2 New DECO*27 Inspired Hatsune Miku Figures
Image by James RichardsonGood Smile Company has officially opened pre-orders for two new Hatsune Miku figures based on DECO*27’s contrasting DecoMiku Lightness and Darkness designs.
The new “POP UP PARADE Hatsune Miku: DecoMiku (Lightness) L Size” and “POP UP PARADE Hatsune Miku: DecoMiku (Darkness) L Size” recreate the two versions of Miku as larger statues within Good Smile’s POP UP PARADE L line.
DECO*27 has been one of the most influential producers associated with Hatsune Miku since beginning to publish Vocaloid music in 2008, with songs including “The Vampire”, “Rabbit Hole”, “Monitoring”, “Ghost Rule” and “Hibana” helping his work reach audiences around the world.
DecoMiku expands that relationship into two contrasting interpretations of Hatsune Miku, with Lightness representing the brighter, cuter and more energetic side of DECO*27’s music while Darkness reflects its heavier and more emotionally troubled side.
Both versions took center stage during “DecoMiku LIVE starring Hatsune Miku ‘Hello'” in February 2026, a DECO*27 concert at Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Stadium that divided songs from his extensive catalogue between Lightness and Darkness.
Good Smile also turned both designs into Nendoroids earlier this year, with the new POP UP PARADE L statues now recreating the original Lightness and Darkness artwork in full as larger, full-body figures.
Lightness captures the brighter side of the concept with Miku winking while dressed in a white, pink and turquoise cropped outfit, bright pink shorts and yellow, pink and turquoise arm warmers.
Her iconic turquoise hair is styled into large heart-shaped twin-tails that end in pink tips, while flowers, stars, ribbons and other colorful accessories are spread throughout the design.
The outfit also features suspender-style braces printed with the phrase “I can definitely go more”, while “Knock, Knock, knock!” appears across her belt and fishnet detailing covers her legs.
The completed Lightness figure stands approximately 23 cm tall with a display base included.
Darkness keeps several elements of the same silhouette while replacing the brighter palette with black, gray, dark blue and vivid pink, giving Miku a much more somber appearance.
Her black cropped top retains the central heart motif as a cutout, paired with dark shorts, fishnet detailing and two black and gray arm warmers.
The contrasting wording also changes with the darker persona, with “I can’t take it anymore” printed across the braces and “Mayday” repeated around her belt.
Darkness replaces Lightness’ cheerful wink with red eyes and a distant expression, while her blue twin-tails retain the heart-shaped styling and pink gradient tips shared between the two designs.
The Darkness figure stands approximately 22 cm tall with its own display base included, allowing the two releases to be positioned together as a matching pair.
Both “POP UP PARADE Hatsune Miku: DecoMiku” figures are priced at ¥9,800 each (approximately $62 / £47), with pre-orders now available through the Good Smile Company Official Shop and reputable hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.
Both figures are expected to ship in April 2027.
