Dragon Ball GT Celebrates 30th Anniversary with Huge New Official Apparel Collection
Image by James RichardsonDragon Ball GT is revisiting some of its most memorable moments for a huge new official AIR TWOKYO collection, turning scenes from the anime into T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and a range of accessories.
The first Dragon Ball GT collection from the Japanese fashion brand uses newly drawn illustrations based on moments featuring Goku, Vegeta, Bulla, Pan, Trunks, Gill and other familiar faces from across the series.
Dragon Ball GT first aired in Japan in 1996 and is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, continuing Goku’s adventures after Dragon Ball Z with a story that initially sends a child-sized Goku across the galaxy alongside Pan and Trunks in search of the Black Star Dragon Balls.
The anime would later introduce major storylines surrounding Baby, Super 17 and the Shadow Dragons, while also debuting Super Saiyan 4, one of the franchise’s most popular transformations.
GT has already received renewed attention through its anniversary celebrations, with Bandai recently launching a dedicated Ichiban Kuji collection featuring new MASTERLISE figures of Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta, Goku, Trunks, Pan, Gill and Super 17 alongside merchandise inspired by the anime’s opening and ending sequences.

Its Dragon Ball GT collection takes a more relaxed approach than the series’ biggest battles, with one standout T-shirt design showing Goku riding one of Frieza’s Kienzan energy discs while another illustration revisits the emotional late-series scene in which Goku talks with Krillin at Kame House.
