Turkish Airlines, the flagship carrier of Turkey, has announced that it will be increasing the frequency of its flights between Narita International Airport and Istanbul, further strengthening its presence in Japan.

The airline, which boasts the largest number of destination countries in the world, will be expanding its service from the current seven flights per week to a new schedule of ten flights per week.

This increase will provide travelers with a more flexible and convenient schedule and will significantly increase the number of same-day connecting flights that are available from Narita.

With this new expansion, the total number of flights from Tokyo (including both Narita and Haneda airports) will increase to a total of seventeen per week.

The total number of flights from Japan as a whole, including the service from Kansai International Airport, will be twenty-four per week.

This expansion of the flight schedule will make travel to not only Europe, but also to the Middle East, Africa, and Central and South America, even more convenient for both business and leisure travelers.

The new, ten-per-week schedule for the Narita-Istanbul route is planned to be implemented as part of the 2026 summer flight schedule.
