Atlus Announces New Persona 30th Anniversary Event “PERSONA Memoria”
Atlus and Bandai Namco have announced “PERSONA Memoria,” a new traveling event celebrating the Persona series’ 30th anniversary across Tokyo, Osaka and Hakata.
The Persona series began in 1996 and has grown into one of Atlus’ most recognizable RPG franchises, combining everyday school life, friendships and relationships with supernatural mysteries and battles against Shadows.
Its stories follow groups of young people who awaken the power of Personas, supernatural manifestations of their inner selves that help them confront threats shaped by human fears, desires and hidden emotions.
PERSONA Memoria will allow visitors to step into the wider world of the franchise through attractions and mini-games inspired by its characters, settings and supernatural themes.
Original merchandise will also be sold at each venue, while a themed collaboration menu will provide another way for visitors to experience the anniversary celebration.
Full details about the activities, products and food have not yet been revealed, with further announcements expected shortly.
The traveling event joins an increasingly busy lineup of projects created to mark three decades since the release of the original Persona game.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will launch a crossover with Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Golden and Persona 5 Royal on August 13, bringing characters and imagery from the three modern-era entries into the mobile RPG shooter.
US fans can also take part in the anniversary through Kura Sushi’s nationwide Persona collaboration, which features themed dishes, an original mascot animation and collectible acrylic charms, badges and sticker sets.
The wider merchandise lineup includes a Cardfight Vanguard Title Booster Premium set featuring the Persona series, giving the franchise’s characters and artwork a dedicated trading card release.
Bandai Spirits is also preparing a Persona 30th Anniversary Ichiban Kuji, with confirmed prizes including MASTERLISE EXPIECE figures of the Persona 3, Persona 4 and Persona 5 protagonists.
Admission to PERSONA Memoria will be free at all three venues, although merchandise, collaboration food and individual attractions carry separate charges.
The Tokyo event will be held at Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo from October 9 through December 6, 2026.
PERSONA Memoria will then move to Bandai Namco Cross Store Osaka Umeda from January 22 through February 23, 2027.
The tour will conclude at Bandai Namco Cross Store Hakata, where it is currently scheduled to run from March 5 through April 4, 2027.
