Razer has officially unveiled a new five-piece Evangelion gaming collection inspired entirely by Shinji Ikari’s EVA-01.
The “Razer | EVANGELION (EVA-01) Collection” applies the Test Type Evangelion’s purple-and-green armor across a mouse, mechanical keyboard, soundbar, oversized mouse mat, and gaming chair, creating a complete matching setup based on one of the anime’s most iconic designs.
Evangelion Test Type-01 is the machine piloted by series protagonist Shinji Ikari and has remained central to the franchise since Neon Genesis Evangelion first aired in 1995.
Its purple armor, fluorescent green sections, and orange detailing are carried across each of Razer’s products, with additional graphics and mechanical-inspired elements drawing directly from EVA-01 and NERV.
The new lineup follows Razer’s Unit-02 gaming collection inspired by Asuka Langley Soryu and her red Production Model Evangelion released earlier this year, once again turning one of the series’ Eva units into a coordinated set of gaming hardware.
Let’s take a look at the complete EVA-01 collection!
- Razer DeathAdder V4 Pro | EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition – ¥32,980 (approx. $209 / £157)
The lightweight wireless ergonomic gaming mouse is built around Razer’s competitive DeathAdder V4 Pro, with the EVA-01 edition receiving its own purple-and-green finish.
It also comes with an exclusive display stand modeled after the launch platform used to prepare EVA-01 for deployment, giving the mouse the most elaborate presentation piece in the collection.
- Razer BlackWidow V4 TKL HyperSpeed | EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition – ¥35,980 (approx. $228 / £171)
The wireless mechanical keyboard uses a compact tenkeyless layout and supports low-latency wireless connectivity alongside hot-swappable mechanical switches.
EVA-01 graphics cover the case and keycaps, extending the machine’s armor-inspired color scheme across one of the largest desktop pieces in the lineup.
- Razer Leviathan V2 X | EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition – ¥22,980 (approx. $145 / £109)
Razer’s compact PC soundbar uses a single USB Type-C connection for power and audio, with the Evangelion edition replacing its standard appearance with EVA-01-inspired graphics and colors.
- Razer Gigantus V2 XXL | EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition – ¥6,980 (approx. $44 / £33)
The oversized gaming mouse mat stretches the EVA-01 design across a large section of the desk, using a textured cloth surface and rubber base intended to support broad and fast mouse movements.
- Razer Iskur V2 X | EVANGELION (EVA-01) Edition – ¥69,980 (approx. $443 / £333)
The collection’s largest product turns Razer’s ergonomic Iskur V2 X gaming chair into a full EVA-01 design, combining purple upholstery with green and orange accents drawn from the machine’s armor.
The chair retains integrated lumbar support and is designed for extended gaming sessions, making it the centerpiece of a complete matching EVA-01 setup.
Neon Genesis Evangelion celebrated the 30th anniversary of its original 1995 TV debut in 2025, with anniversary projects and collaborations continuing throughout 2026.
EVA-01 has been at the center of several of Evangelion’s 30th anniversary releases, including a new Hard Rock Cafe collection built around a Unit-01-inspired version of the brand’s classic logo.
Shinji’s Eva has also recently become the focus of ANICORN’s new Evangelion watch collection, which recreates details from EVA-01 alongside a second watch inspired by Sachiel and their first battle.

Japanese pre-orders are scheduled to begin in October 2026, and at this time, the collection appears to be limited to the Asia-Pacific region, with Razer yet to confirm any wider international release for the EVA-01 lineup.
