Toaru Anbu No ITEM Anime Announces Fall 2026 Premiere in New Teaser Trailer
The official website for the upcoming television anime Toaru Anbu no ITEM released a teaser trailer on February 22, 2026, confirming the series will premiere in Japan in fall 2026.
Tatsuyuki Nagai, known for directing A Certain Scientific Railgun, will lead the project at studio JCSTAFF as the latest entry in the expansive A Certain Series franchise.
The production team includes character designer Shigeki Kimoto and composer Maiko Iuchi, who previously worked on A Certain Magical Index.
The main voice cast features Ami Koshimizu as Shizuri Mugino, Aya Suzaki as Riko Takitsubo, Maaya Uchida as Frenda Seivelun, and Chinatsu Akasaki as Saiai Kinuhata.
Originally published as a light novel by Dengeki Bunko in March 2023, the source material is written by Kazuma Kamachi and illustrated by Nilitsu.
The light novel series currently consists of six volumes, while a manga adaptation by the artist strelka is being serialized in Dengeki Diaoh with two volumes released so far.
The narrative focuses on an elite group of characters navigating the dangerous underground operations within the dark side of Academy City.
