Rilakkuma and Coleman Team Up for Cozy New Camping Collab Collection
Rilakkuma is heading outdoors in a new collaboration with outdoor brand Coleman, introducing a collection of camping-inspired merchandise that combines practical everyday items with the laid-back charm of San-X’s beloved characters.
Created by San-X in 2003, Rilakkuma has become one of Japan’s most recognizable character brands, with the relaxed bear and friends appearing in everything from stationery and plush toys to cafés, travel goods and lifestyle collaborations.
The new collection is built around the theme of a “Leisurely Camping Day,” blending Coleman’s outdoor heritage with Rilakkuma’s calming world through a range of plush toys, bags, accessories and stationery designed for both camping trips and daily life.
Camping-inspired details can be found throughout the lineup, with Rilakkuma and friends wearing camping hats, relaxing in sleeping bags and enjoying time outdoors alongside Coleman-inspired equipment and motifs.
The palm-sized Tenori Plush collection, priced at ¥2,200 each (approx. $15 USD / £11 GBP), features Rilakkuma, Korilakkuma, Kiiroitori and Chairoikoguma dressed for camping, making them ideal for displaying together as a miniature campsite scene.
The Tenori Plush Wagon Set, priced at ¥3,850 (approx. $26 USD / £19 GBP), pairs a camping-themed Rilakkuma plush with a miniature Coleman-branded wagon for a display inspired by a relaxing day at the campsite.
The Hanging Plush collection, priced at ¥3,300 each (approx. $22 USD / £17 GBP), includes Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma complete with ball chains and subtle faux leather tags, making them easy to attach to backpacks or everyday bags.
The Atsumete Plush collection, priced at ¥5,500 each (approx. $37 USD / £27 GBP), wraps Rilakkuma and Korilakkuma inside removable sleeping bags, with a hidden Kiiroitori tucked away inside as a fun surprise for collectors.
The round Rilakkuma Pouch, priced at ¥3,080 (approx. $21 USD / £15 GBP), features the character’s signature ears while offering practical storage for cosmetics, accessories or everyday essentials.
The Rilakkuma Ear Shoulder Bag, priced at ¥7,150 (approx. $49 USD / £35 GBP), combines hands-free convenience with understated character details, making it suitable for outdoor trips as well as everyday use.
The Rilakkuma Ear Backpack, priced at ¥9,350 (approx. $64 USD / £46 GBP), offers the largest storage capacity in the collection while keeping its character-inspired design subtle enough for commuting, school or weekend adventures.
The Clear Folder Set, priced at ¥880 (approx. $6 USD / £4 GBP), showcases artwork based on the Goyururi Camping Day theme and provides a practical way to organize documents and tickets.
The Sticker Sets, priced at ¥825 each (approx. $6 USD / £4 GBP), feature waterproof and UV-resistant finishes, making them suitable for decorating everything from water bottles and cooler boxes to phone cases and notebooks.
The Mini Towel, priced at ¥880 (approx. $6 USD / £4 GBP), features camping gear including tents, lanterns and wagons alongside Rilakkuma and friends in a design suited to both everyday use and outdoor activities.
The Acrylic Pair Keychains, priced at ¥1,760 each (approx. $12 USD / £9 GBP), feature Rilakkuma with Kiiroitori and Korilakkuma with Chairoikoguma, celebrating two of the franchise’s most popular character pairings.
Across the entire collaboration, Coleman-inspired colors and understated character details make many of the bags and accessories easy to use beyond camping, offering fans merchandise that fits naturally into everyday life while still incorporating Rilakkuma and friends.
The Rilakkuma x Coleman collection will be available from Rilakkuma Stores nationwide, Rilakkuma no Yu, Rilakkuma Sabo, participating Loft stores and the San-X Net Shop, with in-store sales beginning on August 1, 2026, followed by online sales starting at 10:00 AM JST on August 3, 2026, while supplies last.
