Ditto and Friends Star in Pokémon Pokopia’s Sweet New Bakery Collab
Ginza Cozy Corner and Pokémon have announced a limited summer collaboration celebrating Pokémon Pokopia’s cast of colorful characters.
Released worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 on March 5, 2026, Pokémon Pokopia is the franchise’s first slow-life sandbox game and follows a Ditto that has transformed into a human-like form as it creates a new home alongside other Pokémon.
The collaboration draws from the game’s relaxed world and its unusual versions of familiar Pokémon, while also expanding the lineup with baked treats featuring Pikachu, Eevee and several other favorites.
The nine-piece “Pokémon Pokopia Collection,” priced at ¥3,564 (approx. $22 USD / £16 GBP), transforms the game’s cast into an assortment of miniature tarts, roll cakes, glazed desserts and colorful jellies .
The selection includes a moss-covered Snorlax matcha roll cake, a Pikachu roll cake filled with banana and condensed milk whipped creams, and a soda-flavored jelly depicting Ditto transformed into Lapras.
Squirtle becomes an orange cream cake with a bright soda-flavored glaze, while Ditto is represented by a blueberry cream tart filled with blueberry jam.
The remaining desserts include a Bulbasaur cake with pistachio whipped cream and chocolate sponge, a pale Pikachu vanilla cream tart, a Charmander cake finished with raspberry glaze and a soda cream tart inspired by Professor Tangrowth.
Each purchase of the nine-piece assortment also comes with an original holographic sticker while supplies last.
The individual “Pokémon Pokopia Ditto Cake,” priced at ¥777 (approx. $5 USD / £4 GBP), recreates Ditto with a glossy purple glaze covering blueberry-flavored sponge layered with blueberry jam and yogurt-flavored cream.
A decorative pick featuring Pikachu and the pale version of Pikachu seen in Pokémon Pokopia completes the single-serving dessert.
The eight-piece “Pokémon Eevee Friends Box,” priced at ¥864 (approx. $5 USD / £4 GBP), includes Eevee-printed cookies and madeleines inside packaging decorated with Eevee and its different evolved forms.
Opening the Poké Ball section on the front reveals one of three possible designs featuring a different trio of Eevee evolutions, adding a surprise element to each box.
The 12-piece “Pokémon Party Box,” priced at ¥1,512 (approx. $9 USD / £7 GBP), combines printed cookies, Poké Ball-inspired financiers and madeleines with interactive packaging that reveals Pokémon when the gear attached to the lid is turned.
The 10-piece “Pokémon Pikachu Tin,” priced at ¥1,890 (approx. $12 USD / £9 GBP), features several of Pikachu’s expressions across a reusable container filled with printed cookies, Poké Ball-inspired financiers and madeleines.
The collection will be available through participating Ginza Cozy Corner stores across Japan, with selected locations also offering online reservations for the nine-piece Pokémon Pokopia cake assortment.
Online reservations for the nine-piece collection will be accepted from July 26 at 10:00 AM until August 21, with store pickup available between July 31 and August 26, 2026.
The cakes will launch on July 31, 2026 and are expected to remain available until around August 26, while the baked gift boxes will be sold from July 31 until approximately the end of August or while supplies last.
