The Apothecary Diaries Jinshi Joins Kotobukiya’s OSHI WORKS Figure Line This December

Kotobukiya has officially opened pre-orders for a new figure based on the popular anime series The Apothecary Diaries.
The “OSHI WORKS Jinshi Figure” captures the key character from the series in a detailed, non-scale sculpt.

The OSHI WORKS line centers its product lineup around the concept of “Oshi,” a Japanese term that refers to a fan’s favorite character, while maintaining accessible pricing for collectors.
The Apothecary Diaries features Jinshi as a high-ranking eunuch who manages the complex affairs of the rear palace.

Claiming to be 24 years old, he possesses an ethereal, almost divine beauty that captivates both men and women, though his personality is stubborn and often unscrupulous.

After discovering Maomao’s hidden talents and her complete indifference to his stunning looks, he develops a deep fascination with her, often teasing her with infuriating antics throughout the story.

This non-scale pre-painted figure stands at approximately 25 cm in height, purposely capturing the accurate height difference between him and Maomao.

The sculpt faithfully reproduces his handsome, refined features, while his ornate, traditional Chinese-style attire is rendered with incredible detail to showcase the elegant design and the natural-looking folds of the fabric.

Finer details, such as his flowing long hair and the traditional fan held carefully in his hand, have also been meticulously recreated.

The figure’s base is equipped with a magnetic connector on the side that allows it to link up with other figures in the OSHI WORKS line, which also makes it a perfect display companion for the simultaneously announced Maomao figure.

The “OSHI WORKS Jinshi Figure” is priced at 9,350 yen (approx. $60 USD/£48 GBP) and pre-orders can now be placed via reputable hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.
The official release/shipping for the figure is scheduled for December 2026.
