The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten 2 Adds Marika Kono as Ayaka Kido

The second season of the romantic comedy anime series The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is scheduled to premiere on April 3, 2026.
Ahead of the upcoming broadcast, a special stage event was held at AnimeJapan 2026 to provide fans with new updates regarding the production.
It was announced during the event that Marika Kono, recognized for her role as Yumina Urnea Belfast in In Another World with My Smartphone, has joined the voice cast as the character Ayaka Kido.

The presentation also featured the debut of a special Amane-kun counting video along with new angelic character visuals for the series protagonist Mahiru.
The new season will see a change in leadership as Chihiro Kumano takes over the role of director from Lihua Wang at the animation studio project No9.

Key staff members from the first season are returning for the sequel, including series composer Keiichiro Ochi and character designer Takayuki Noguchi.
The story follows the developing relationship between a tidy, helpful girl named Mahiru and her disorganized neighbor Amane after a simple gesture of kindness leads to a sweet romance.

The anime is an adaptation of the light novel series written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto.
Crunchyroll, which previously streamed the first season beginning in January 2023, has confirmed it will stream the second season as part of its spring 2026 lineup.
