Global sportswear brand PUMA has announced a new collaboration with Pokémon as part of the franchise’s 30th-anniversary celebrations.

The upcoming “Pokémon x PUMA Collection” features a massive variety of lifestyle sneakers and clothing items inspired by fan-favorite pocket monsters.

Originally created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1996, the role-playing game series has evolved into the highest-grossing media franchise in the world.

Generations of fans have spent decades exploring different regions to catch, train, and battle the unique creatures.

The core of the new sneaker line utilizes a clever “Day and Night” theme to pair contrasting characters together.

Designers have applied this concept to the iconic electric mouse Pikachu and its ghost-type counterpart Mimikyu, alongside the psychic and dark-type Eevee evolutions, Espeon and Umbreon.
