Stage Tour: Latest Details from the Developer Spotlight Trailer

RedOctane Games has revealed a substantial update for Stage Tour, a new rhythm action title scheduled for release in late 2026 on PC and major consoles.

During the IGN Live event on June 7, 2026, the studio debuted a Developer Spotlight Trailer that showcases a roguelite inspired Campaign Mode featuring branching paths and gameplay modifiers.

The project is led by veterans from the Guitar Hero and DJ Hero franchises alongside contributors from the community driven rhythm game YARG.

A hardware partnership with Gibson has resulted in the announcement of an official guitar controller modeled after the Kramer brand.

Players will also have access to an official modular drum kit with expandable attachments as well as wired and wireless microphone options for a full band experience.

The developer confirmed a closed alpha setlist including songs such as Dani California by Red Hot Chili Peppers and Square Hammer by Ghost.

Other tracks featured in the initial lineup include Island in the Sun by Weezer, Get the Funk Out by Extreme, and RATATATA by Babymetal and Electric Callboy.

The game includes an in game hub inspired by the Gibson Garage in Nashville and allows players to customize a roster of bandmates with unique identities.

Attendees at the IGN Live 2026 event were given the first opportunity to play the early closed alpha build on custom arcade machines.

RedOctane Games plans to share more specific details regarding platform support and additional music later in the summer of 2026.
