Sanrio characters make a splash in new pool party themed summer merch line
Sanrio has revealed another new range of summer themed merchandise, this time with a focus on a popular evening activity.
The “Sanrio Characters Night Pool Party Item Collection” sees popular Sanrio characters with a healthy summer glow enjoying a vibrant night pool party.
Sanrio has released a number of different merchandise collections in time for summer that feature Hello Kitty and friends with a sun-kissed appearance, including apparel and accessories, a prize lottery and capsule toys.
The new “Sanrio Characters Night Pool Party Item Collection” captures the trendy “night pool” aesthetic popular in Japan, which combines summer relaxation with an energetic night-time atmosphere, making night time pool parties a popular summer activity.
The range is produced in collaboration with Kamio Japan, a well-known stationery and general goods manufacturer, and includes a number of high-quality products.
The collection features “tanned” characters including Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Pochacco, My Melody, and Hello Kitty, ready for their night pool adventures.

The “Night Party Item Collection” is now available online via the Kamio Japan Shop online.
Sales will commence in Sanrio Shops and Sanrio corners in department stores from early July onwards, as well as other national character product retailers and fancy shops, and the Sanrio Online Shop.
Further items will join the collection over the coming months, including a clear flat pencil case and petit deco stickers, scheduled for sale from July 8th (to be shipped from July 10th), and mascot keychains due to go on sale September 9th (to be shipped from September 11th).
