Good Smile Reveals First Look at Hatsune Miku’s Official GLOOMY Bear Collab Nendoroid
Image by Charlotte DavisGood Smile Company has officially revealed the first painted prototype for a new Hatsune Miku Nendoroid based on her collaboration with GLOOMY Bear.
The “Nendoroid Hatsune Miku GLOOMY Ver.” recreates the pink bear-inspired appearance created for the crossover in the approximately 10 cm-tall proportions of Good Smile’s popular chibi-style figure line.

The figure was displayed at Wonder Festival 2026 Shanghai, which is taking place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from October 3 through October 4.

“GLOOMY meets Hatsune Miku” was first announced in January 2026 with completely new collaboration artwork by illustrator LAM, pairing the virtual singer with Mori Chack’s mischievous pink bear across merchandise and a series of pop-up events.

Created by Mori Chack in 2000, GLOOMY is the enormous pet bear of a boy named Pity, combining an intentionally cute pink appearance with a violent streak that frequently leaves his owner injured after their attempts to play together.

That contrast between cute and dangerous carries directly into Miku’s collaboration design, replacing much of her usual futuristic styling with a predominantly pink look inspired by GLOOMY.

The Nendoroid retains the small bear ears positioned atop Miku’s head alongside the leather-strapped muzzle covering the lower half of her face.

Her long twin-tails have also been reshaped into oversized claws inspired by GLOOMY’s paws, giving one of Miku’s most familiar features a completely different silhouette.
Those exaggerated twin-tails work especially well with the Nendoroid format, where larger heads and simplified proportions allow the claw shapes to become an even more prominent part of the figure’s appearance.

Good Smile has not yet revealed the Nendoroid’s full accessory lineup or alternate face plates, leaving several details about the finished release to be announced at a later date.
The GLOOMY collaboration is also receiving the “POP UP PARADE SP Hatsune Miku GLOOMY Ver.,” which presents LAM’s design as a larger full-body figure and includes a miniature GLOOMY that can be positioned in front of Miku.

Good Smile is producing that companion release through its more elaborate POP UP PARADE SP range, giving the collaboration two different figure formats built around the same artwork.
Unlike the POP UP PARADE SP figure, the Nendoroid prototype has not been displayed with a miniature GLOOMY, and Good Smile has yet to reveal whether one will be included with the smaller release.

Miku has received several other major releases from Good Smile Company during 2026, including two DECO*27-inspired “DecoMiku Lightness” and “DecoMiku Darkness” figures.

LAM has also played an increasingly prominent role in Miku’s official artwork, having created the completely new visual for Hatsune Miku V6 that Good Smile has since turned into another Nendoroid.
