Gundam and hololive Production are officially expanding their ongoing crossover, with the first Gashapon figure collection based on the collaboration set to open for orders this week.
“Mobile Suit Gundam MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE hololive Production Collaboration Vol. 1” includes a hololive-themed RX-78-2 Gundam and Houshou Marine’s Crossbone Gundam X1 as the inaugural pairing in a planned series.
MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE is Bandai’s small-scale Gashapon figure series built around interchangeable weapons, armor, and standardized connection points, allowing compatible parts to be swapped and combined between different mobile suits.
The new figures draw directly from the wider Gundam × hololive Production project unveiled earlier in 2026, which has paired hololive talents with customized mobile suits through new colors, emblems, pilot outfits and original artwork.
“Gundam [hololive Production Ver.]” reworks the RX-78-2 Gundam with the collaboration’s white and blue color scheme and newly applied markings.
Bandai has based the figure on the RX-78-2 previously included in MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE Vol. 30, making a small adjustment to the waist for the new version and including a Beam Rifle and Shield.
“Crossbone Gundam X1 [Houshou Marine Ver.]” adapts the Crossbone Gundam around Marine’s pirate-themed identity, using burgundy and gold across the mobile suit with her emblem printed prominently on the chest.
It uses the Crossbone Gundam X1 sculpt previously seen in MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE Vol. 20 and comes equipped with its Zanbuster.
Both stand approximately 6.5cm tall and retain the modular construction used throughout MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE, allowing weapons and other compatible components to be exchanged with earlier figures in the line.
These versions of the two mobile suits have already appeared elsewhere in Bandai’s plans for the collaboration, with Real Grade Gunpla kits of Houshou Marine’s Crossbone Gundam X1 and the hololive RX-78-2 revealed in August alongside Shirakami Fubuki’s Gundam Exia.

More MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE figures are also planned, with Bandai having previously displayed Volumes 1 through 3 of the Gundam × hololive range during Tokyo Toy Show 2026.
Online sales for “Mobile Suit Gundam MOBILE SUIT ENSEMBLE hololive Production Collaboration Vol. 1” open through Gashapon Online on October 27, 2026, and are scheduled to run until November 24, subject to the available allocation selling out.
Each pull costs ¥1,000 (approx. $6 USD / £5 GBP), with the Gundam [hololive Production Ver.] and Crossbone Gundam X1 [Houshou Marine Ver.] each initially carrying a 50% draw rate.
Orders are scheduled to ship in late March 2027, although Bandai says the collection may appear through physical Gashapon machines across Japan before online orders are delivered.
Though Bandai has increased international availability of Gashapon products in recent years, no wider release has been confirmed at the time of writing.
