Re-release of three popular “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” Gunpla kits confirmed
BANDAI SPIRITS is set to re-release three popular model kits from the anime series “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX”.
This will give fans who missed their initial releases another opportunity to acquire these highly sought-after kits, including the “HG 1/144 Red Gundam”, which recently made a notable appearance in the latest episode of the anime.
“Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX” is the latest instalment in the long-running Gundam franchise, diverging from the traditional Universal Century timeline to present an alternate reality version of that continuity.
The series features protagonist Amate Yuzuriha, a high school student who finds herself embroiled in illegal mobile suit dueling matches known as “Clan Battles” after encountering a war refugee and an enigmatic mobile suit pilot.
The re-released items will include two Gunpla kits and one Figure-rise kit that were originally released earlier this year.

- HG 1/144 Red Gundam
This High Grade (HG) kit captures the striking design of the Red Gundam, known for its unique color scheme and powerful presence in the anime.
High Grade kits are popular for their balance of detail, articulation, and relatively straightforward assembly, making them accessible to a wide range of modelers.
It retains the original price of price of 2,750 yen (approx. $19.29 USD / £14.32 GBP).
- HG 1/144 Gelgoog Bokata (GQ)
This kit brings a specialized Gelgoog variant to life in 1/144 scale.
The Gelgoog series of mobile suits has a long history within the Gundam universe, often serving as powerful adversaries or customized units.
This kit also keeps the same price of 2,420 yen (approx. $16.79 USD / £12.48 GBP) as the original release.
- Figure-rise Standard Amaterasu Yuzuruha (Machu)
The Figure-rise Standard line focuses on human characters from anime and manga, offering highly articulated and detailed models.
Amate Yuzuruha, known by her Clan Battle alias “Machu,” is the main protagonist of “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX,” and this kit allows fans to build a poseable action figure of her.
As with the other two re-releases, the model kit keeps its original price and will be available for 4,180 yen (approx. $29.01 USD / £21.55 GBP).
These three products were initially released through general retail channels such as hobby stores, but these re-releases are now available through Premium Bandai’s online store.
The exact start time on Premium Bandai has not been specified, but based on previous releases, sales typically commence between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM JST.
