Pre-Orders Set to Close for US Re-Release of Gundam Unicorn’s Exclusive MG Stark Jegan Gunpla Kit

Fans in the US only have a limited time left to secure the latest re-release of the heavily armed MG 1/100 Stark Jegan, with pre-orders set to close imminently ahead of its return this October.
As a Premium Bandai exclusive, the MG Stark Jegan is not part of Bandai’s standard retail Gunpla lineup, meaning that builders are only able to acquire it through the official US store.

Introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, the Stark Jegan is an upgraded assault version of the Earth Federation’s mass-produced Jegan and remains particularly memorable for its intense battle against the Kshatriya during the anime’s opening sequence.

The Master Grade kit uses the MG Jegan Type D as its foundation before adding newly molded armor and equipment that recreates the Stark Jegan’s heavier anti-ship combat configuration.

New parts cover the head, chest, arms, waist, and legs, creating the bulkier appearance that separates the Stark Jegan from the standard machine while preserving the recognizable proportions of the original design.

Its shoulders are equipped with large triple missile pods, while the redesigned backpack features powerful thrusters and three movable stabilizers that reinforce the Mobile Suit’s high-mobility space combat role.

Weapon racks fitted to both arms include opening hatches and internal storage for the beam sabers and grenade launcher, adding functional details that can also be incorporated into different display poses.

The wider equipment selection includes a beam rifle, beam saber, grenade launcher, hyper bazooka, and the shoulder-mounted triple missile pods, covering both the Stark Jegan’s ranged firepower and close-combat options.

The model is also compatible with the separately sold RE/100 Type 89 Base Jabber Unicorn Ver, allowing for the recreation of larger Universal Century transport and battlefield displays.

The latest re-release of the MG 1/100 Stark Jegan, priced at $95, is available to pre-order through Premium Bandai US until 2:59am (EDT) on September 15, 2026, with all successful orders due to ship in October.
