Pre-orders open for re-release of Kill la Kill Ryuko Matoi Bunny Ver. figure

Japanese figure manufacturer FREEing has announced that pre-orders are now open for a second re-release of its Ryuko Matoi Bunny Ver. figure from the anime series Kill la Kill.
This “B-Style” 1/4 scale figure of the series’ main heroine is set to ship in November, priced at ¥25,080 (tax included).
Kill la Kill, produced by Studio Trigger and Aniplex, is an original anime series that premiered in 2013.

It soon became a fan favorite due to its fast-paced action, distinct art style, and unique blend of comedy and drama.
Ryuko Matoi, the protagonist, wields a scissor blade and wears the sentient uniform Senketsu as she seeks revenge for her father’s death.
FREEing is particularly known for its large-scale bunny-girl figures, which often feature characters in various scales and poses.

This re-release marks the second time the “Ryuko Matoi Bunny Ver.” figure has been offered to collectors since its initial launch in July 2017.
The figure previously saw a re-release in September 2019. The continued demand for this specific rendition of Ryuko Matoi has prompted FREEing to open pre-orders once more.
The figure stands at an impressive 350mm tall due to its 1/4 scale, allowing for a detailed representation of Ryuko in a bunny suit.

This outfit presents Ryuko with a different aesthetic compared to her combat uniform, Senketsu, offering an alternative portrayal of the character. The figure comes pre-painted and fully assembled.
Pre-orders can now be placed directly via the Good Smile Company website.
Fans who missed previous opportunities to acquire this figure now have another chance to add it to their collections by placing a pre-order before the August 20th deadline.
