Stunning New Tokyo Ghoul Figure Recreates the Series’ Most Iconic Moment

Rocket Toys has revealed a new 1/6 scale action figure of Ken Kaneki in his Awakened form, recreating one of the most memorable turning points from the Tokyo Ghoul anime.
Tokyo Ghoul began as a manga by Sui Ishida, serialized in Weekly Young Jump from 2011 to 2014, before receiving a TV anime adaptation from Studio Pierrot in 2014.

The series follows Ken Kaneki, an ordinary college student whose life is violently changed after an accident leaves him transformed into a half-Ghoul, forcing him to survive between the human world and a hidden society of flesh-eating Ghouls.

Kaneki’s Awakened form comes from episode 12 of the anime’s first season, where he undergoes a dramatic transformation during his confrontation with Yamori and fully embraces the terrifying power inside him.

The “Tokyo Ghoul Ken Kaneki (Awakening Ver.) 1/6 Scale Action Figure,” priced at 1,450 RMB (approx. $200 USD / £155 GBP), stands approximately 27.5 cm tall and captures Kaneki with his white hair, sharpened expression, and battle-damaged appearance from that defining scene.

The head sculpt recreates the intensity of Kaneki’s transformation, while two eye options allow collectors to display him with either normal eyes or Ghoul eyes.

Both eye parts include an articulated mechanism that can be adjusted with the included tool, allowing his gaze to be directed more precisely for different poses.

His torn black shirt and white pants are recreated with real fabric tailoring, giving the figure a more natural appearance while preserving the look of his post-awakening battle outfit.

The figure uses seamless jointed arms and legs to show Kaneki’s muscular physique more realistically, with small details such as his blackened fingernails also reproduced.

The “Awakening Ver.” includes an alternate smiling face sculpt, twelve interchangeable hands, alternate arm parts, alternate leg parts, handcuffs, shackles, Kaneki’s Ghoul mask, Kagune effect parts, Yamori’s torture chair, and a chain set.

By combining the included accessories with the dedicated display base and flexible articulation, collectors can recreate Kaneki’s awakened stance and his brutal showdown with Yamori from the anime.

Rocket Toys has also revealed the companion “Tokyo Ghoul Ken Kaneki (Battle Clothes Ver.) 1/6 Scale Action Figure,” priced at 2,050 RMB (approx. $285 USD / £220 GBP), which recreates Kaneki’s appearance from Tokyo Ghoul √A after he joins Aogiri Tree in an attempt to grow stronger and protect the people important to him.

The “Battle Clothes Ver.” also stands approximately 27.5 cm tall and appears to use the same seamless body as the Awakening Ver., while its fabric tailoring recreates Kaneki’s black short-sleeved jacket, black shorts and black bodysuit battle attire.

This version includes multiple eye options, including normal eyes, one Ghoul eye and a pair of all-white eyes, with an adjustable gaze mechanism and included adjustment tool allowing for more expressive display choices.

Additional accessories include two interchangeable head sculpts, with one featuring Kaneki’s eyepatch mask and another showing the ferocious expression of his Centipede form.

The Battle Clothes Ver. also comes with twelve interchangeable hands, a coffee cup, and effect parts for Kaneki’s Centipede Kakuja state.

By removing the black jacket and combining the alternate heads, Kagune effect parts and white eye options, collectors can recreate the overwhelming presence of Kaneki as the SS-rated Ghoul known as Centipede.

Both Rocket Toys Ken Kaneki figures are scheduled for release in Q2 2027, and pre-orders are now open via a variety of online retailers.
