Bandai Unveils New Jujutsu Kaisen Choso S.H.Figuarts Figure as Pre-Orders Set to Open

TAMASHII NATIONS has fully revealed a new Jujutsu Kaisen S.H.Figuarts action figure based on one of the Shibuya Incident arc’s most memorable characters, Choso.

Created by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen follows Yuji Itadori as he becomes entangled in the world of Jujutsu Sorcerers after becoming the host of the King of Curses, Sukuna, with Choso emerging as one of the series’ most popular antiheroes following his unforgettable battles and evolving relationship with Yuji.

The eldest of the Death Painting Wombs, Choso possesses the inherited Blood Manipulation cursed technique and combines the traits of both a cursed spirit and a human, allowing him to continue fighting without the limitations of ordinary blood loss as long as his cursed energy remains.

The new S.H.Figuarts release faithfully recreates Choso’s anime appearance, from his distinctive twin topknots and facial markings to the flowing folds of his outfit, while the highly articulated body has been designed to recreate a wide range of action poses from the series.

A generous selection of accessories is included, featuring three pairs of interchangeable hands, clasped hands, blood-covered arm parts, three interchangeable facial expressions based on his techniques, a Blood Edge effect part, and a Piercing Blood effect part that recreates one of his signature attacks.

A dedicated display stand is also included to support dynamic action poses, while the figure has been designed to pair with the previously announced S.H.Figuarts Yuji Itadori -120% of Potential figure, allowing collectors to recreate their intense confrontation from the Shibuya Incident.

The S.H.Figuarts Choso action figure is priced at ¥9,900 (approx. $67 USD / £50 GBP) and will be available to pre-order from August 3 through general hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan.

The figure is currently scheduled for release in February 2027.
