Pizza Hut Japan warns customers to avoid social events after trying new ‘garlic overload’ menu

Pizza Hut Japan is launching a new limited-time menu featuring four pizzas packed with an extra punch of everyone’s favorite pungent bulb.
The “Garlic Overload Guilty Secret Menu” will be available from Monday, May 12th to Sunday, June 8th, 2025, with these garlicky creations promising a deeply rich and irresistible taste that garlic lovers won’t be able to resist.
Pizza Hut has playfully warned customers that these pizzas are so intensely flavored with garlic that you’ll probably want to avoid making social plans for a day or two afterwards.

The new lineup takes popular Pizza Hut menu items that already feature garlic as an accent and amplifies the garlicky goodness to a whole new level.
Pizza Hut has even assigned “garlic levels” to each pizza, indicating the intensity of the garlic flavor.
The four new “Garlic Overload Guilty Secret Menu” pizzas are:
- “‘Extra Garlic’ Garlic Mayo Shrimp” Garlic Level 3 (Rich):

The popular Garlic Mayo Shrimp gets an extra dose of fragrant garlic, creating an even more addictive combination with shrimp and special mayonnaise sauce.

- “‘Extra Garlic’ Adult Anchovy Olive” Garlic Level 3 (Rich):

The sophisticated Adult Anchovy Olive, with its garlic-infused sauce and briny anchovies, is intensified with additional garlic, making it a perfect pairing for beer or wine.

- “‘Extra Garlic’ Garlic Meat Gourmet” Garlic Level 4 (Intense):

An amped-up version of the Garlic Meat Gourmet, where savory garlic enhances the flavor of three different meats.

- “‘Extra Garlic’ Adult Bacon Mushroom” Garlic Level 5 (MAX):

The flavorful Adult Bacon Mushroom, featuring an ahijo-style garlic pizza sauce, gets a generous topping of garlic chips for an even more aromatic experience.

Each of these “Guilty Secret Menu” pizzas will be available in Medium and Large sizes for both takeout and delivery (with no separate delivery fee). Prices vary by size and crust selection.
