New Ranma 1/2 Season 3 Trailer Confirms October Release Date

The latest anime adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi’s Ranma 1/2 manga series is set to continue in October 2026 with its third season.
Official social media channels for the anime released a new trailer and a teaser visual for the upcoming season.

The first two seasons are currently available for streaming on Netflix, and the third season is scheduled to join the platform’s library following its Japanese broadcast in October 2026.
The narrative follows Ranma Saotome, a young martial artist who was promised in marriage to one of Soun Tendo’s daughters to secure the future of the family’s dojo.
Ranma’s life is complicated by a curse that causes him to transform into a girl when splashed with cold water, a condition he must manage while navigating his rocky relationship with his fiancée.
The series remains a staple of the martial arts comedy genre, and the new season is expected to cover further developments in the rivalry between Ranma and Ryoga.
Animation studio MAPPA remains at the helm of the production with Konosuke Uda returning to direct the television series.
The creative team also includes Kimiko Ueno for series composition, Hiromi Taniguchi for character designs, and Kaoru Wada for the musical score.
