Special Edition Turn A Gundam Gunpla Set Returns for Limited Pre-Order

Bandai has opened pre-orders for a re-release of two specialized Gunpla model kits based on popular mobile suits from Turn A Gundam.

The “MG 1/100 ∀ Gundam / Turn X [Nano-Skin Image]” set recreates the legendary machines piloted by Loran Cehack and Gym Ghingham with a unique aesthetic finish.

Master Grade kits stand approximately 18 cm tall and provide a high level of mechanical detail, including a complete internal skeleton.

Turn A Gundam takes place in the Correct Century, where a moon-dwelling race attempts to return to a regressed Earth.

The series is famous for featuring mechanical designs by the renowned industrial designer Syd Mead, who brought a distinct futurist look to the mecha.

Both the ∀ Gundam and Turn X utilize advanced self-repairing armor known as Nano-Skin, which allows them to withstand extreme damage over centuries.

The “MG 1/100 ∀ Gundam / Turn X [Nano-Skin Image]” luxury set was originally produced to celebrate the legacy of Syd Mead and features both mobile suits with metallic molding colors to create a more divine and high-end appearance.

Builders will find specialized water-transfer decals produced by the legendary Master Kawaguchi to accurately replicate the look of Nano-Skin armor surfacing on the plating.

The “MG 1/100 Expansion Effect Unit ‘Moonlight Butterfly’ for Turn A Gundam” is sold separately and provides the massive iridescent energy wings for the ∀ Gundam.

These accessory effect parts are designed to catch the light and enhance the metallic finish of the mobile suit to recreate its most powerful weapon deployment while forming a truly majestic silhouette on a display stand.

Pre-orders for the re-released Gunpla kit set and expansion effect unit opened on May 13 via Premium Bandai.

The “MG 1/100 ∀ Gundam / Turn X [Nano-Skin Image]” set is priced at 15,180 yen (approx. $97 USD/£77 GBP), and shipping is scheduled for July 2026.

The “MG 1/100 Expansion Effect Unit ‘Moonlight Butterfly’ for Turn A Gundam” is priced at 2,200 yen (approx. $14 USD/£11 GBP) and shipping is scheduled for June 2026.
