New My Hero Academia Wireless Earbuds Feature Exclusive Voice Lines From Deku, Bakugo and Todoroki
My Hero Academia fans will soon be able to experience the world of U.A. High in a whole new way as a new range of wireless earbuds featuring exclusive voice recordings from three of the anime’s biggest heroes has been revealed.
ONKYO’s new “AOW01 MARKII HEROACA” collection is available in three separate editions based on Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki, with each model featuring newly recorded voice guidance performed by the original Japanese voice cast.
Created by Kohei Horikoshi, My Hero Academia follows Izuku Midoriya as he strives to become a professional hero in a world where superhuman abilities known as Quirks are commonplace, training alongside his classmates at the prestigious U.A. High School while battling increasingly dangerous villains.
The manga concluded its decade-long serialization in August 2024, while the television anime reached its finale with My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON in December 2025 after a total of 170 episodes.
To celebrate the anime’s 10th anniversary throughout 2026, a series of commemorative projects and special events has been launched under the “My Hero Academia The Animation 10th Anniversary” banner.
The new earbuds are based on the updated AOW01 MARKII platform, which succeeds the original AOW01 model jointly developed by ANIMA and Onkyo.
Each charging case has been decorated with artwork inspired by the selected character’s Quirk and signature techniques, while the earbuds themselves feature the character’s personal motif alongside the U.A. High School emblem.
The built-in voice guidance has been specially recorded for this collaboration and includes two selectable voice modes that can be switched with a simple tap.
Across the two modes, every version contains a total of 54 unique voice lines covering actions such as powering the earbuds on and off, pairing with a device, touch controls, and activating noise cancellation.
Midoriya’s recordings range from friendly greetings and motivational phrases to his trademark “SMASH!!” attack.
Bakugo’s version delivers his unmistakably explosive personality through aggressive comments, sarcastic remarks, and fiery reactions during everyday earbud functions.
Meanwhile, Todoroki’s guidance reflects his calm and composed demeanor, offering understated responses and quiet confirmation messages throughout operation.
The collaboration also includes a range of matching accessories, including acrylic stands with voice plates for ¥1,650 each (approx. $11 USD / £8 GBP), earbud pouches for ¥2,750 each (approx. $19 USD / £14 GBP), and wireless chargers for ¥4,400 each (approx. $30 USD / £22 GBP).
Orders for the “AOW01 MARKII HEROACA” wireless earbuds are open until August 28, 2026, at 3:00 PM (JST), through ONKYO DIRECT, with each version priced at ¥22,000 including tax and shipping (approx. $149 USD / £111 GBP).
