Sanrio Launches Huge New Official Makeup Collection Starring 5 Fan-Favorite Characters

Sanrio’s lifestyle brand “sanrio house” has unveiled its first official cosmetics collection, bringing Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, My Sweet Piano and Cinnamoroll to a new range of makeup products.
Built around the theme “Kawaii² Beauty,” the collection includes six different product types covering eye shadow, lipstick, highlighter, eyeliner and lip gloss, with character-inspired colors and packaging designed to be easy to use as part of everyday makeup.

sanrio house launched in March 2026 as a Sanrio-supervised brand operated by MASH Group, expanding the company’s characters across fashion, home goods, beauty products and food through its own stores and online shop.

The brand has already released several character-focused collections during its first year, including Hello Kitty accessories and a dedicated SNIDEL HOME collaboration built around Kuromi.

Sanrio’s characters have also appeared across several other major beauty releases during 2026, including a recent Cosme Kitchen collection that brought My Melody and Kuromi to cosmetics, skincare and accessories from multiple brands.

Hello Kitty and her friends also became the faces of Olive Young’s huge “City Log” campaign, which covered hundreds of beauty, wellness and lifestyle products across the Korean retailer’s stores.

For sanrio house’s own beauty debut, one of the main products is the “Dreamy Pallet,” with five different eye shadow palettes created around individual characters.

Hello Kitty receives the coral-toned “Hello! Coral,” My Melody gets “Melody Pink,” Kuromi is represented by “Girlish Mauve” and My Sweet Piano receives “Fluffy Pink,” with each of those palettes containing four colors.

Cinnamoroll’s “Pastel Parasol” version uses a three-color arrangement instead, with the wider range combining character-inspired shades with pearl finishes designed to stay in place without excessive powder fallout.

Another key part of the collection is the “Dreamy Rouge,” which separates the lipstick case and color refill so buyers can choose their favorite character without being limited to a specific shade.

Five pearl-pink cases are available featuring Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, My Sweet Piano and Cinnamoroll, while ten different lipstick colors can be swapped between them depending on the wearer’s preference.
