Sanrio’s My Melody and Kuromi Get New Official Cosmetics Collection from Cosme Kitchen

My Melody and Kuromi are starring in an adorable new collection of cosmetics, beauty products and accessories as Sanrio teams up with Cosme Kitchen for the very first time.

Built around the theme “HUG YOURSELF,” the collaboration combines the contrasting pink and black styling of the two Sanrio favorites with products from Cosme Kitchen and several of the beauty brands sold through the Japanese retailer.

Cosme Kitchen specializes in natural and organic cosmetics, skincare and wellness products, with the new collaboration bringing My Melody and Kuromi to brands including LOVECHROME, FEMMUE, ETVOS, F ORGANICS, MAISON DE AQUA and chant a charm.

The pair have already appeared across several beauty collaborations during 2026, including a limited Lash Guardian mascara collection and their first hair care collaboration with John Masters Organics.

One of the cutest products in the new Cosme Kitchen range combines an Aromatic Lip Cream with a fluffy My Melody or Kuromi plush case, with a small storage space built into the back of each character for carrying the included lip product.

The lip cream itself uses ingredients including shea, avocado, baobab and macadamia-derived oils to create a glossy moisturizing finish, turning the character case into more than a simple bag charm.

Kuromi is also getting an exclusive version of LOVECHROME’s Inbath Tsuki Premium Black comb, pairing the brand’s premium hair care accessory with a special character design and matching case.

The makeup side of the collection includes two multi-use Color Balms that can be applied around the eyes or used as cheek color, with My Melody receiving the pink-toned “Ribbon Glaze” and Kuromi represented by the darker “Cosmic Haze”.

Advance reservations for the collection are already open through the MASH GO GREEN STORE and will continue until September 28 at 9:59 AM JST for most products, ahead of the nationwide Japanese release on October 2.

The range will be available through Cosme Kitchen, Biople and Biop stores alongside online retailers including MASH GO GREEN STORE, USAGI ONLINE, Rakuten, ZOZOTOWN and MASH STORE.

The “My Melody and Kuromi Aromatic Lip Cream Case Sets” follow a slightly different online schedule, with their MASH GO GREEN STORE general release set for October 8 at 10:00 AM JST despite becoming available through participating physical stores from October 2.
