New Gundam x Guns N’ Roses Music Video Released for Hathaway: The Sorcery Of Nymph Circe

Universal Music Japan International has released an animated music video for the classic Guns N’ Roses track Sweet Child O’ Mine on its official YouTube channel.
The iconic song serves as the ending theme for the anime film Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe.

Originally appearing on the 1987 album Appetite for Destruction, the track reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 following its single release in August 1988.

To celebrate the musical partnership, the film’s official website announced a special promotion for theatergoers attending screenings between March 27, 2026, and April 2, 2026.
Fans who visit the cinema during this period will receive a collaboration art sticker inspired by the Appetite for Destruction cover.

The sticker art features the Ξ Gundam at the center, surrounded by the RX-78-2 Gundam, Z Gundam, ZZ Gundam, and ν Gundam in the positions of the original band members.
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is the second entry in a planned trilogy adapting the Hathaway’s Flash novels by Yoshiyuki Tomino.

The film opened in Japanese theaters on January 30, 2026, and has already earned over 25 billion yen through 148 million admissions in its first 48 days.
This commercial performance has already surpassed the 223 billion yen total gross achieved by the first installment of the series in 2021.

Set in the year UC 0105, the story follows Hathaway Noa as he leads the insurgent group Mafty against the Federation government while struggling with past trauma and new encounters.
A soundtrack album for the production was previously made available on February 4, 2026.
