My Melody adds to range of anniversary goods with new Liberty Fabrics collab

Sanrio has announced the release of a new collaboration to celebrate My Melody’s 50th anniversary.

My Melody will be teaming up with Cyalel Yahata, an Osaka based accessory retailer with a focus on floral prints, to release a special edition pouch that comes in two designs.

This collaboration is the latest to take place in My Melody’s 50th anniversary year, following on from announcements that include a collaboration with watch brand Seiko and fashion accessory brand Samantha Thavasa.

Liberty Fabrics, a division of the iconic London department store Liberty, is renowned globally for its distinctive and innovative textile designs.

Established in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty, the brand quickly became synonymous with artistic and high-quality printed fabrics, particularly its intricate floral, paisley, and abstract patterns.

My Melody x Liberty Print Mini Pouch

This mini-sized pouch is designed to be highly versatile, perfect for organizing small essentials like cosmetics, cards, or other little treasures.

It features a delicate design that marries a botanical Liberty print with the gentle image of My Melody.

The pouch will be available in two color variations: a pristine white and a soft pink.

Measuring approximately 9cm in height, 13.5cm in width, and 0.5cm in depth, and weighing about 33g, the pouch is crafted from cotton with a vinyl laminate for durability and has a nylon lining and metal clasp.

While the laminate adds a protective layer, customers should note it is not fully waterproof, and due to its handmade nature, slight variations in size may occur.

With its compact design and attention to detail, this accessory offers a classic style perfect for a number of everyday uses.
