Moosa: Dirty Fate Promises Historical Korean Action for PS5, Xbox, and PC

Studio IGGYMOB, the developer behind Gungrave GORE, has officially announced a new dark action title titled MOOSA: Dirty Fate.

The game is scheduled for a 2027 release and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC through Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass will also have access to the title on its launch day.

Set in 17th century Korea during the Joseon Dynasty, the narrative takes place during a period of historical hardship known as the Little Ice Age.

This era was defined by extreme climate anomalies, widespread famine, and devastating epidemics that led to total social collapse.

Players assume the role of Gunn, a warrior who has lost everything and is driven by a singular need for vengeance.

The journey involves battling demons disguised as humans and uncovering the mysteries surrounding the legendary IMUGI.

The world of MOOSA: Dirty Fate features diverse environments including prosperous cities, mountain rivers, and famine-stricken slums.

Combat mechanics emphasize the use of both the sword and the bow, with the latter serving as a strategic tool rooted in Korean history.

Enemies include massive creatures from Korean folklore and master swordsmen that require skill-driven tactics to defeat.

Studio IGGYMOB aims to deliver a brutal and tightly crafted experience where survival is the only proof of a player’s will.
