On June 17, the official Kagurabachi X account confirmed that the series would be entering a hiatus beginning with the June 29 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.

According to the announcement, Hokazono originally wished to continue working on the manga without interruption.

However, after discussions between the creator and editorial staff, it was ultimately decided that a temporary break would be the best way to ensure the series can continue to be produced in a stable and sustainable manner going forward.

The announcement did not specify any particular health condition, but many readers immediately expressed concern for the creator’s well-being.

Fans responded with messages encouraging Hokazono to take the time needed to rest, with many emphasizing that prioritizing health is more important than maintaining a weekly schedule.
