Chiikawa Announces Special Tokyo Skytree Collaboration for Summer 2026

A special collaboration between the upcoming Chiikawa movie and Tokyo Skytree will take place under the title “Chiikawa☆Starry Skytree and the Secret Island.”
The event will transform parts of Tokyo Skytree into an immersive experience inspired by a mysterious island floating high above the clouds.

Newly created artwork featuring Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, and their friends dressed in exclusive island-themed costumes has been produced especially for the occasion.

The event will be held across the Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria areas of Tokyo Skytree, offering visitors numerous attractions based on the world of the film.

Decorations, themed displays, exclusive dining options, collectible merchandise, special lighting effects, photo opportunities, and interactive experiences have all been prepared for guests.

The attraction is designed to recreate the feeling of exploring a hidden island in the sky while surrounded by panoramic views from hundreds of metres above ground level.

Throughout the Tembo Galleria between Floors 445 and 450, visitors will be able to walk through seven themed areas that recreate key scenes from the film’s story.

Guests can relive moments ranging from the characters’ departure for the island to cave exploration aboard a hand-rowed boat and even the confrontation with the Siren.

A dedicated photo area for plush toy photography will also be available near the conclusion of the experience.

On Floor 350 of the Tembo Deck, the SKYTREE ROUND THEATER attraction will showcase a special Chiikawa video presentation on a panoramic screen situated approximately 350 metres above the ground.

The presentation runs for roughly six minutes and will be screened every evening throughout the event period.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy special illumination displays inspired by nine characters, including Chiikawa, Hachiware, Usagi, Momonga, Kurimanju, Rakko, Shisa, Furuhonya, and the Siren.

The lighting effects will gradually change colours at intervals of approximately 100 seconds.
An exclusive photo service allowing guests to pose alongside event characters will also be available on Floor 445 of the Tembo Galleria, with printed photos priced at ¥1,800 (approx. $13 USD/ £10 GBP) each while photography without purchasing a print remains free.

The SKYTREE CAFE on Floor 340 of the Tembo Deck will serve a collection of themed collaboration beverages inspired by the event’s island setting.
The lineup includes Chiikawa’s pink lemonade drink, Hachiware’s lychee-and-lactic-acid-bacteria drink, Usagi’s pineapple tropical drink, and a strawberry yoghurt-flavoured beverage inspired by Momonga and Furuhonya, with each drink priced at ¥1,100 (approx. $8 USD/ £6 GBP).

Guests ordering collaboration menu items will receive exclusive bonus items while supplies last.
One original coaster selected at random from eight designs will be included with every qualifying menu order.

Visitors spending at least ¥4,000 on food and beverages (approx. $28 USD/ £22 GBP) will also receive a special signboard-style clip inspired by the event.

Access to the themed café requires the purchase of an observatory admission ticket that includes a meal reservation.
Reserved café seating tickets will be available at ¥1,100 for one person (approx. $8 USD/ £6 GBP), ¥2,200 for two people (approx. $15 USD/ £12 GBP), and ¥4,400 for four people (approx. $31 USD/ £24 GBP), with each reservation lasting 60 minutes.
A dedicated capsule toy attraction will also be available during the collaboration.
The “Starry Support Magnet” capsule toy series features eight possible designs distributed randomly.

Each play will cost ¥440 (approx. $3 USD/ £2 GBP), payment will be cashless only, and purchases will be limited to two attempts per visitor.
A substantial range of exclusive merchandise inspired by the collaboration has been created for fans.

Available items include acrylic keychains decorated with beads, foldable eco bags, large tote bags, T-shirts, badges and more.
Many of the merchandise lines feature multiple character variations, allowing collectors to obtain different designs.
Items will be sold both at SKYTREE SPACE on the first floor and through the official Chiikawa Market online store.
Customers spending at least ¥3,300 on merchandise (approx. $23 USD/ £18 GBP) will receive an original shopping bag while supplies last.

Observatory visitors who spend at least ¥1,100 on the same day (approx. $8 USD/ £6 GBP) will also be eligible to receive a hard card case featuring one randomly selected design from a set of eight.
Several special admission packages have also been prepared for visitors attending the collaboration.
One package combines admission to both the Tembo Deck and Tembo Galleria with a randomly selected bromide photograph from a collection of six designs.
The collaboration event will run from July 10, 2026, until October 31, 2026, at Tokyo Skytree’s Tembo Deck, Tembo Galleria, and related event areas.
The special bromide-inclusive observatory admission tickets will be available for purchase from July 9, 2026, through October 31, 2026, with prices starting at ¥3,300 for visitors aged 15 and older (approx. $23 USD/ £18 GBP) and ¥1,800 for children aged 6 to 14 (approx. $13 USD/ £10 GBP).
