Japan Exclusive Gundam Unicorn Gunpla Kit Confirmed for Wider Release

Bandai Spirits has announced that the HG 1/144 Geara Doga (Heavy Armed Type) is officially receiving a wider release later this month, giving more Gunpla builders the chance to pick up the impressive support unit.
The kit is based on Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn, the acclaimed Universal Century series that continues the Gundam timeline several years after Char’s Counterattack and introduces a new generation of pilots, mobile suits and Neo Zeon forces.

This version recreates the AMS-119 Geara Doga equipped with the powerful Lange Bruno Gun, transforming the standard Neo Zeon mobile suit into a dedicated long-range support unit built to provide heavy firepower from a distance.

Originally released as a limited item through Fukuoka’s Gundam Side-F in early 2026, the kit is now being made available through Premium Bandai, allowing collectors who aren’t able to visit the store in person to order online.

The Geara Doga (Heavy Armed Type) features a newly sculpted backpack designed specifically for this configuration, accurately recreating the additional equipment required to support the massive artillery weapon.

Its signature Lange Bruno Gun has also received special attention, with the barrel featuring textured molding that enhances its mechanical appearance and gives the oversized weapon a more realistic finish once assembled.

Overall, the kit captures the familiar proportions of the Geara Doga while highlighting the dramatic silhouette created by its heavy support loadout.

The HG 1/144 Geara Doga (Heavy Armed Type) is priced at ¥3,850 (approx. $26 USD / £19 GBP), with pre-orders opening through Premium Bandai on July 14, 2026, ahead of its planned December 2026 shipping window.
