This project marks the third time that a work by creator Katsuwo has been adapted into an animated series.

Shinya Une, known for directing the third season of Rent-a-Girlfriend, will lead the production at Studio Comet.

The series composition is being handled by Kenichi Yamashita and Aki Itami, while Narumi Shimoji is responsible for the character designs.

Kenta Higashoji is composing the music for the series, and Kyohei Suzuki will serve as the assistant director.

The story takes place thirteen years after an event known as the Red Day, which resulted in 90 percent of the human population being killed or infected by a mysterious disease.

Aki, a member of the new generation with no memory of the world before the collapse, is voiced by Miyari Nemoto.

The supporting cast includes Lynn as Natsuki, Toshiya Miyata as Haru, Hibiku Yamamura as Yu, and Yuka Nukui as Sakura.

Aki leads her friends Haru and Natsuki away from their isolated village to search for her missing father in a beautiful yet zombie-infested world.

The anime will air on Saturdays at 11:30 PM JST as part of the IMAnimation programming block on twenty-four stations affiliated with TV Asahi across Japan.
