FuRyu Reveals New CRY Series Game in Development as CRYMELIGHT Trademarked in Japan

FuRyu has officially filed a trademark for CRYMELIGHT in Japan on March 27, 2026, with the filing becoming public knowledge on April 6, 2026.

This new trademark strongly suggests a follow-up to the publisher’s established action RPG series, which includes the titles CRYSTAR and CRYMACHINA.

The Tokyo-based company has a consistent history of announcing its primary annual projects during the spring months between February and May.

Previous major announcements from the publisher include Trinity Trigger in May 2022 and CRYMACHINA in February 2023.

More recently, REYNATIS was unveiled in February 2024, while the title VARLET was announced to the public in April 2025.

Given this established pattern of spring reveals, industry observers expect an official announcement regarding CRYMELIGHT in the very near future.
