Gundam Wing’s Tallgeese III Returns to the MG Gunpla Line This July
Bandai Hobby has announced the re-release of a popular model kit from the hit anime film Mobile Suit Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.
The “MG 1/100 Tallgeese III” is set to return for fans who missed its previous releases.
Gundam Wing originally debuted in the 1990s and played a pivotal role in introducing the Japanese mecha genre to Western audiences through television broadcasts.
The Endless Waltz cinematic movie serves as a direct sequel to the popular television series, wrapping up the conflict and introducing incredibly elaborate redesigns for the main characters’ mobile suits.
The story follows the aftermath of the anime series, where peace is suddenly threatened by a new military uprising.
During this conflict, the enigmatic pilot Zechs Merquise joins the peacekeeping organization known as the Preventers and pilots the Tallgeese III into battle.
The Master Grade line from Bandai Spirits provides an engaging building experience, allowing fans to assemble an intricate mechanical skeleton before attaching the exterior armor pieces.
This impressive 1/100 scale release faithfully recreates the iconic mobile suit without the need for glue, snapping together easily straight out of the box.
The model captures the distinct, knight-like aesthetic of the Tallgeese lineage, complete with its signature white exterior and finely molded head crest.
A major highlight of this kit is the massive Mega Cannon directly connected to the shoulder armor, measuring an impressive 25 centimeters in length.
