The series follows Satou Takahiro, an ordinary man who finds himself transported into the universe of his favorite space-themed video game.

Adopting the name Hiro, the protagonist navigates a life of adventure as a mercenary equipped with a powerful starship and surrounded by a growing crew.

The main voice cast features Makoto Furukawa as the lead character Hiro, joined by Konomi Inagaki as Mimi, Anna Nagase as Elma, and Haruka Shiraishi as Serena.

Norihiko Nagahama is set to direct the adaptation at studio A-CAT, with Takamitsu Kono handling series composition.

Character designs for the anime are being provided by Masami Sueoka, while Kenta Higashoji will compose the musical score and Jin Aketagawa will serve as sound director.

The project is based on the original light novels by Ryuto and Tetsuhiro Nabeshima, which have reached a circulation of over 13 million copies in Japan since the anime was first announced on February 6, 2025.

English-speaking audiences can access the source material through Seven Seas Entertainment, which publishes both the light novels and the manga adaptation by Shunichi Matsui.

The new trailer marks a significant expansion for the franchise as it prepares to bring its blend of interstellar battles and colony exploration to television screens in late 2026.
