Demon Slayer’s Sweet New Bakery Collab Serves Up Themed Food and Exclusive Merch

A new collaboration between Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba and bakery chain Heart Bread Antique has been announced, bringing fans an extensive range of character-inspired breads, desserts, merchandise, and exclusive promotional items.
The partnership introduces a themed collection based on some of the series’ most recognizable heroes, with products drawing inspiration from Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and several other members of the Demon Slayer Corps.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the bestselling manga created by Koyoharu Gotouge, which has surpassed 220 million copies in circulation worldwide.
The story follows Tanjiro as he joins the Demon Slayer Corps after his family is attacked by demons and his sister Nezuko is transformed into one herself.

As Tanjiro searches for a way to return Nezuko to human form, he becomes involved in a series of increasingly dangerous battles against powerful demons.

Since the anime adaptation debuted in 2019, the franchise has become one of the most successful anime properties in the world, spawning multiple television seasons, feature films, and a vast range of licensed merchandise.

The first chapter of the Infinity Castle movie trilogy, Akaza Returns, attracted more than 27.45 million moviegoers during its theatrical run and generated over ¥40.2 billion at the box office.

A home video release of the film is also scheduled for July 29, 2026.
The Demon Slayer x Heart Bread Antique collaboration showcases members of the Demon Slayer Corps enjoying a rare moment of relaxation together.

Newly created artwork depicts the characters taking a break from their usual battles while sharing baked treats in a welcoming bakery environment.

Among the featured products is the “Demon Slayer Chocolate Banana Ring,” a special pastry inspired by the classic chocolate banana flavour combination often associated with summer festivals.

The bread incorporates banana-flavoured paste and is topped with chocolate and crunchy banana chips to create a sweet seasonal treat.
The “Total Concentration! Tanjiro Pull-Apart Bread” recreates the distinctive green-and-black checkered pattern of Tanjiro’s haori using yomogi dough, black cocoa dough, and chocolate chips.

The “Nezuko Bamboo Strawberry Bread” takes inspiration from Nezuko’s pink kimono and signature bamboo muzzle, pairing soft yomogi dough with Amaou strawberry filling and whipped cream.

The “Zenitsu Thunderclap Egg Bread” reflects Zenitsu’s Thunder Breathing techniques through an omelette-style savoury bread filled with egg and ham and finished with a lightning-inspired mayonnaise design.

The “Inosuke Fluffy Meat Bun Bread” references one of Inosuke’s more lighthearted moments, wrapping pork bun filling and spicy chili-oil mayonnaise inside soft bread.

The “Giyu Beef Bread” is inspired by Giyu Tomioka and combines charcoal-grilled beef short rib with mayonnaise and a sweet-and-savory seasoning for a filling meal option.

The “Shinobu Wisteria Croissant” uses purple sweet potato to evoke the colour of wisteria flowers associated with Shinobu Kocho, pairing the flavour with a crisp croissant pastry.

The “Mitsuri Heartbeat Fresh Doughnut – Strawberry” features colours inspired by Mitsuri Kanroji and combines strawberry flavouring with pistachio accents inside a soft doughnut.

The “Muichiro Neko Neko Bread – Fluffy Ramune” is based on Muichiro Tokito and uses a refreshing ramune flavour while incorporating a mist-like visual pattern inspired by Mist Breathing.

Each purchase of the Muichiro-themed bread includes a collectible bread clip designed after the tsuba of Muichiro’s Nichirin Sword.

A special Demon Slayer Corps bread set bundles together the Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke breads alongside an exclusive clear file, with artwork varying throughout the promotional period.

The collaboration also includes a special-edition Demon Slayer Sugar Rusk package featuring the bakery’s popular snack product.

Each Sugar Rusk package contains one randomly selected sticker from a collection of 11 original designs, including characters not represented in the bakery lineup.

Additional food items include strawberry chocolate brownies featuring Tanjiro and Nezuko on the packaging, as well as chocolate mint brownies showcasing Tanjiro alongside Giyu.

The “Chuntaro Banana Madeleine” transforms Zenitsu’s sparrow companion Chuntaro into a bird-shaped cake finished with a banana flavour and matching yellow colour scheme.

Beyond the food offerings, the collaboration introduces a range of exclusive merchandise featuring members of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Items available through the collection include tote bags, hand towels, acrylic keychains, acrylic display blocks, clear bottles, and other themed collectibles.

Customers who spend ¥2,000 (approx. $14 USD/£10 GBP) or more on eligible collaboration products will receive one randomly selected commemorative coaster while supplies last.

The coaster campaign will feature two separate waves of artwork, with the first focusing on Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, while the second highlights Giyu, Shinobu, Mitsuri, and Muichiro.
A promotional social media campaign will also give ten winners the opportunity to receive a complete set of all eight collaboration coaster designs.

Combining exclusive food items, original merchandise, collectible bonuses, and newly illustrated artwork, the collaboration offers fans a more relaxed and charming look at the world of Demon Slayer away from the battlefield.

The Demon Slayer x Heart Bread Antique collaboration will begin on July 1, 2026, with products launching at participating Heart Bread Antique bakery locations in Japan, while selected merchandise, exclusive sets, and additional items will also be available through the company’s online storefront.
