Call Of The Elder Gods Arrives May 12

Publisher Kwalee and developer Out of the Blue Games have announced that Call of the Elder Gods, the sequel to the 2020 puzzle adventure Call of the Sea, will launch on May 12, 2026.

The title is scheduled for release across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, and PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store.

Subscribers to Microsoft’s subscription service will be able to access the game on day one as it will be available via Game Pass.

The story follows Professor Harry Everhart and student Evangeline Drayton at Miskatonic University as they investigate a mysterious artifact and ancient revelations.

This Lovecraftian narrative adventure takes players to diverse locations ranging from a New England mansion to the Australian outback and frozen wastelands.

Built using Unreal Engine 5, the game features object-based puzzles and a dual-character mechanic, allowing players to swap between Harry and Evangeline to solve complex problems.

The production includes a fully voice-acted script featuring the talents of Yuri Lowenthal and Cissy Jones, who both return from the previous installment.

Composer Eduardo De La Iglesia also returns to provide the soundtrack for this sequel, which is inspired by HP Lovecraft’s story The Shadow out of Time.
