Final Fantasy IX 25th Anniversary Cafe in Nagoya 2026

A special collaboration cafe celebrating the 25th anniversary of the classic RPG Final Fantasy IX is now open at the Square Enix Pop Up Cafe Nagoya following successful runs in Tokyo and Osaka.
This milestone event honors the legacy of the title originally released on the PlayStation in 2000 which continues to be a significant part of the franchise history.
The Nagoya event is scheduled to take place from February 20 to April 9, 2026 at the Square Enix Pop Up Cafe Nagoya located on the first floor of Anshin Oyado Woman and Man Nagoya Sakae.
Visitors can enjoy a themed menu inspired by the characters and story of the game with the offerings divided into two distinct periods.
The first half of the event will run from February 20 to March 16 followed by a second period from March 17 to April 9 featuring a different selection of items.
Exclusive novelty items will be available for patrons including a random coaster given with each collaboration menu order from a pool of eight different designs for each period.
In addition to menu rewards guests will receive one of three random luncheon mats per visit as a special cafe entry bonus with designs also rotating between the two event halves.
Reservations for both the early and late periods of the cafe are expected to be high as fans gather to experience the limited time menu and collect event exclusive merchandise.
