Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii themed craft beer now on sale

Sega have announced a collaboration with ALOHA BEER, a craft beer maker from Oahu, Hawaii, for the upcoming game Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.

The Like a Dragon series is no stranger to alcohol collaborations, having previously teamed up to release a themed sake.

The Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii collaboration craft beer will be based on ALOHA BEER’s popular “Fruit Lupes” flavour, a 7.3% alcohol juicy double hazy IPA, described as having the flavor and aroma of tropical fruits.

The collaboration can features Goro Majima

Goro Majima, the games protagonist, will feature on the collaboration cans which will appear in select stores across Japan, such as BicCamera Liquor, from the 20th of February.

There is a way to get your hands on what is sure to become a collectors item earlier than this date, as online sales began at 12:00 JST on the 10th of February via the official collaboration website.

The collaboration with ALOHA BEER extends into the game world of Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, with the breweries beer set to appear in the game as a recovery item as well as appearing in bars within the game.

Available in a set of 4 cans, the limited-edition Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii craft beer will be priced at 2,640 yen (approx. $17.01 USD/£13.74 GBP) and can be purchased online from the 10th of February and in physical BicCamera Liquor stores across Japan from the 20th of February whilst stocks last.
