New Monster Hunter Wilds Arkveld and Rathalos Armor Model Kits Revealed by Bandai
Image by James RichardsonBandai has officially revealed a pair of new Monster Hunter Wilds model kits, which are set to join their 30 Minutes Fantasy model kit line alongside several new original creations.
The Monster Hunter collaboration was announced during the latest “30 Minutes Label New Product Presentation,” with two kits based around armor created from Rathalos and Arkveld becoming the first crossover releases.

Monster Hunter Wilds is the latest mainline entry in Capcom’s long-running hunting series, sending players into the Forbidden Lands to battle huge creatures and turn the materials they collect into increasingly powerful weapons and armor.
Released in February 2025, the game became Capcom’s fastest-selling title by passing eight million copies in just three days, with Arkveld serving as its flagship monster.

Rathalos has a much longer history with Monster Hunter and remains one of the franchise’s most recognizable creatures, making its armor a fitting choice to represent the wider series alongside Arkveld.
The collaboration is particularly well suited to 30 Minutes Fantasy, a model kit range built around customizable fantasy characters whose armor, weapons and other parts can be swapped through the wider 30 Minutes system.

Its figures feature with highly articulated humanoid bodies and use standardized connection points for additional armor, allowing builders to create different fantasy jobs or combine parts from multiple kits rather than treating each release as a completely self-contained character.
The first crossover kit recreates the “Rathalos Equipment – Rathalos Series -“, transforming the monster’s familiar red armor into an articulated hunter equipped with a Great Sword.

Bandai has also recreated the Slinger attached to the hunter’s left arm, with the model able to display the equipment in its deployed position rather than simply molding it as a static armor detail.
The second kit is based on the “Arkveld Equipment – Shuvalka Series -“, adapting armor created from Wilds’ flagship monster with its pale surfaces, darker underlayers and more aggressive shapes.

Its included weapon is the Chainblade Axe Perceval Switch Axe, which can change between Axe Mode and Sword Mode to reproduce the transforming weapon system used in the game.
Bandai demonstrated that the transformation can be completed without replacing parts, making the Switch Axe one of the more substantial play and display features included across the two Monster Hunter releases.
The latest presentation was not limited to the Capcom collaboration, with several new 30MF characters and upgrade sets also revealed for early 2027.
A new dark-themed Class V knight joins the range as the counterpart to the Superior Arc Knight, using metallic-style molded colors and a much more sinister armor design than the brighter fantasy classes that established the line.

The new “Dark Neville Arch Knight” release represents only the second Class V character introduced for 30 Minutes Fantasy.
Bandai also revealed “Necros Mephist,” a dark mage-style starter set that combines its base body with armor and weapon parts rather than requiring builders to purchase the core character separately.

Its equipment includes a staff and translucent magic effect parts, while newly designed hands incorporate 3 mm connection points so the effects can be attached directly for spell-casting poses.
The Savage Hunter Class-Up Armor takes a different approach by expanding the existing Land Hunter, adding newly designed armor and weapons that allow the separately sold character to be upgraded into a more aggressive hunter class.

A new Flexible Sticker Set 1 is also joining the range, using engraving-inspired decorative markings that can be applied across compatible 30MF kits to add further detailing without requiring paint.
