Bandai Announces US Re-Release for Exclusive Gundam AGE: Memory of Eden Gunpla Kit

One of Mobile Suit Gundam AGE’s most striking exclusive Gunpla kits is returning for US fans, with the red Gundam Legilis from Memory of Eden getting another limited re-release.

The “HG 1/144 Gundam Legilis [Memory of Eden]” recreates the version piloted by Zeheart Galette, replacing the standard Gundam Legilis color scheme with the red coloring associated with Zeheart throughout the series.

Originally released as an exclusive kit in 2013, the Memory of Eden version is based on the existing HG Gundam Legilis but reproduces its dramatically different appearance through red, white, and darker molded parts.

Mobile Suit Gundam AGE: Memory of Eden was released in the same year as this kit as a reworked version of the Gundam AGE story that places a much greater focus on Asemu Asuno and Zeheart Galette, expanding their friendship and eventual rivalry with newly created scenes and revised battles.

One of its most memorable changes comes during the final confrontation between the two, where Zeheart pilots his newly red Gundam Legilis against Asemu’s Gundam AGE-2 Dark Hound in a substantially expanded version of their battle.

The Gundam Legilis itself is Vagan’s Gundam-type Mobile Suit, combining technology derived from the captured Gundam AGE-3 with Vagan technology before eventually being entrusted to Zeheart.

The HG kit retains the broad articulation of the original release, including movable wings and joints that allow the red Legilis to be posed in the aggressive aerial combat poses seen during Memory of Eden.

Another key feature is its ability to separate into the smaller Legilis Core, while the Legilis Shield can be deployed to represent the Mobile Suit’s Bit attacks.

Its weapon selection includes the Legilis Rifle, Beam Sabers, Legilis Cannon and Legilis Shield, with multiple hand parts also provided for different weapon and open-hand poses.

US builders are now getting another chance to add the exclusive version to their collections, with pre-orders for the “HG 1/144 Gundam Legilis [Memory of Eden]” currently open through Premium Bandai US.

Pre-orders opened on September 4, 2026, and are scheduled to remain available until January 16, 2027, although orders will close early if the available allocation sells out.

The Premium Bandai exclusive is priced at US$28 and is scheduled to ship in February 2027.
