Hello Kitty Hits the Gym for New Limited Edition Activewear Collab Collection
Image by James RichardsonJapanese fitness brand CRONOS and Sanrio have teamed up for a new activewear collection that sees Hello Kitty pumping iron as she hits the gym.
The latest “CRONOS x Hello Kitty” collection combines the brand’s training-focused clothing with new artwork of Hello Kitty working out, holding dumbbells and wearing CRONOS apparel across a lineup that includes T-shirts, leggings and socks.
CRONOS specializes in activewear designed to work both inside and outside the gym, and the new collaboration follows the same approach with clothing intended for everyday outfits as well as training.
The largest piece in the lineup is the CRONOS x Hello Kitty Hoodie, priced at ¥17,600 (approximately $116 USD / £86 GBP), which is available in navy or black and features unisex sizing from S through L.
A CRONOS x Hello Kitty Big Tee is priced at ¥12,100 (approximately $80 USD / £59 GBP), with white and black versions available for anyone looking for a more relaxed oversized option.
The collection also includes a black Short Tee priced at ¥11,000 (approximately $72 USD / £53 GBP), providing a more fitted alternative to the larger T-shirt.
For training outfits, the black CRONOS x Hello Kitty Leggings are priced at ¥10,780 (approximately $71 USD / £52 GBP), extending the collaboration beyond tops while keeping the character graphics tied to CRONOS’ usual fitness-focused clothing.
White and black CRONOS x Hello Kitty Socks are also available for ¥2,200 (approximately $14 USD / £11 GBP), with a single one-size option completing the wearable portion of the collection.
The collaboration is not limited to clothing, with a large towel featuring Hello Kitty dressed in CRONOS activewear available in red and black for ¥8,800 (approximately $58 USD / £43 GBP).
A matching Hello Kitty Mascot is priced at ¥4,950 (approximately $33 USD / £24 GBP), with red and black versions differentiated by the color of the dumbbell she is holding.
The mascot also includes a keychain attachment, allowing it to be carried on a bag or pouch rather than being limited to use as a display item.
All seven items are now available through CRONOS stores across Japan and the brand’s official online store, having launched on September 12, 2026.
The collaboration will also be celebrated with a special Hello Kitty greeting event at the recently opened CRONOS Shinsaibashi store in Osaka on September 19.
Hello Kitty is scheduled to appear at 1:00 PM, 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM, with each appearance expected to last around 30 minutes.
