TWO-MIX’s New Gundam Wing Anniversary Albums Launch This Week
A special music collaboration between the legendary pop duo TWO-MIX and the Mobile Suit Gundam Wing anime is set to be released imminently.
Two brand new albums will bring iconic anthems from the original anime series back to life for modern listeners.
Mobile Suit Gundam Wing originally premiered in 1995 and became a massive international hit, introducing countless overseas fans to the sprawling science fiction universe.
The high-energy electronic music provided by TWO-MIX became synonymous with the thrilling mecha battles and dramatic political narratives of the series.
These new anniversary releases feature stunning cover illustrations drawn by Satoshi Ogasawara, the talented artist behind the Glory of the Losers manga adaptation.
The first album cover highlights Heero Yuy and Relena Peacecraft alongside the Wing Gundam, while the second features TWO-MIX members Minami Takayama and Shiina Nagano with the Wing Gundam Zero.
The art reveals a hidden combined illustration when the two album cover inserts are placed together.
The first press limited editions utilize a special clear card jacket system that allows the characters in the foreground to be separated from the artwork of the Gundams.

- Mobile Suit Gundam Wing TWO-MIX DIGITALLY REMASTERED
- Price: 2,750 yen (approx. £14 GBP / $18 USD).
This album features remastered versions of classic tracks like “Just Communication” and “Rhythm Emotion.”
It includes the original television broadcast audio for these songs, marking the very first time the TV versions have been officially released on CD.
- THE END OF THE ENDLESS WALTZ
- Price: 3,300 yen (approx. £17 GBP / $22 USD).
This release introduces a brand new instrumental track titled “Prelude,” composed specifically to honor the 30-year legacy of the franchise.
Fans will also find new arrangements of the classic vocal songs tailored to the Endless Waltz storyline.
Both anniversary albums are scheduled to launch in Japan on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
Customers who purchase the CDs at participating retailers will receive an exclusive A4 clear file featuring the jacket artwork.
To coincide with the launch, special photo spots and a social media campaign will be held at the Animate Ikebukuro store in Tokyo and the Joshin Nipponbashi store in Osaka.
These promotional events will run from Tuesday, March 17, to Monday, March 30, 2026.
