TIGER & BUNNY THE STAGE Unveils Anime Accurate Fire Emblem Casting

The cast has officially been revealed for TIGER & BUNNY THE STAGE, giving fans their first full look at the performers who will bring the iconic heroes back to life as the franchise celebrates its 15th anniversary.

Following the announcement of the stage play’s long-awaited return earlier this year, the production has now unveiled its main visual, complete cast lineup, hero costumes and performance details ahead of its September premiere.

Originally produced by Sunrise, now Bandai Namco Filmworks, the original TIGER & BUNNY television anime debuted in 2011 before returning with a second season in 2022, earning a dedicated global fanbase through its unique blend of superhero action and corporate sponsorship culture.

One of the production’s biggest talking points has been the reveal of Joel Shohei as Fire Emblem, also known as Nathan Seymour, with fans praising the actor’s striking resemblance to the beloved hero.

The newly unveiled hero costume closely recreates Fire Emblem’s appearance from the anime, with many fans highlighting both the accuracy of the design and Joel Shohei’s ability to capture the character’s personality and presence.

Nathan Seymour remains one of the series’ most recognizable heroes, standing out as an openly LGBTQ+ character whose confidence and charisma have made Fire Emblem a fan favorite since the anime first aired.

Joel Shohei previously received widespread praise for portraying Miguel in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 THE STAGE, adding to the excitement surrounding his latest role.

The newly released visuals also showcase the full ensemble cast in costume, offering fans their first proper look at how the heroes have been adapted for the stage production.

A defining feature of the original anime was the inclusion of real-world corporate sponsors displayed across each hero’s costume, and the stage adaptation faithfully continues that tradition.

Fourteen companies have partnered with the production, with their logos incorporated directly into the hero suits to recreate one of the series’ signature visual elements.

The return of TIGER & BUNNY THE STAGE marks the franchise’s first theatrical production in 14 years, making it one of the biggest anniversary celebrations announced for the series.

Performances will take place at Shibuya LOVEZ in Tokyo from September 19 through September 27 before the production moves to AiiA 2.5 Theater Kobe in Hyogo from October 2 through October 4, 2026, with additional cast information and costume visuals now available through the official production website.
