My Hero Academia’s Latest Game “UNITED SURVIVAL” Opens for Pre-Registration
A brand-new My Hero Academia mobile game is on the way, with pre-registration now open for My Hero Academia: UNITED SURVIVAL ahead of its planned release later this year.
My Hero Academia, created by Kohei Horikoshi, has become one of the defining shonen series of the past decade, following Izuku Midoriya and his classmates at U.A. High School as they train to become professional heroes in a world where around 80 percent of the population possesses superhuman abilities known as Quirks.
The anime adaptation first premiered in 2016 and concluded its eight-season run with the FINAL SEASON in 2025, while the franchise continues its 10th anniversary celebrations in 2026 with new animation projects and special events such as the upcoming My Hero Academia 10th Anniversary Exhibition.
Fans are also eagerly awaiting the release of the short anime “I am a Hero Too,” based on the special one-shot manga included in the official fan book, which will begin streaming on August 3.
Developed through a partnership between KLab and gumi, My Hero Academia: UNITED SURVIVAL is a roguelite hero action game that lets players strengthen their favorite characters’ Quirks while battling through increasingly large waves of enemies using simple, accessible controls.
Players can assemble teams of three heroes, with teamwork playing a central role as characters combine their unique Quirks to unleash powerful joint Ultimate Moves capable of turning the tide of battle.
The game also features a wide range of playable characters, countless upgrade combinations and team-building options, encouraging players to experiment with different strategies to create their strongest lineup.
Alongside recreating key moments from the original My Hero Academia story, UNITED SURVIVAL will also introduce exclusive original scenarios and special attacks created specifically for the game, giving longtime fans new content that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
A pre-registration campaign is also underway, with all players set to receive a special reward if registrations reach 500,000 before launch.
Reaching the milestone will unlock a gacha ticket that allows players to choose one of three SR heroes: Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo or Shoto Todoroki.
Pre-registration is available now through the App Store, Google Play and the official My Hero Academia: UNITED SURVIVAL website.
The game is scheduled to launch during 2026, with the exact release date yet to be confirmed.
